Reordering

Items can be reordered by drag and drop.

Four rules. If a case is not here, work it out from the rules. If you cannot, a rule is missing.

R1 — The dragged item goes exactly where it is dropped.

A B C D → drag A between B and C → B A C D.

R2 — Every other item keeps its relative order.

Reordering one item must not independently move, sort, or reshuffle anything else.

R3 — Only an explicit reorder changes the order.

Editing, refreshing, or unrelated actions must not change item order.

R4 — Invalid drops are prevented.

Do not accept an invalid reorder and correct it afterward.
